Regional Supply Chain Manager @ Wienerberger – West-EU / Hybrid

When defining the strategic plan to enable growth for the business unit Building Solutions, Wienerberger realized that supply chain would play a key role throughout the whole company. After having defined regions based on certain market-specific characteristics, they now want to position a Regional Supply Chain Manager in each region to spearhead the supply chain organization.

Job Description

  • Act as a strong business partner and center of expertise for regional COOs, Managing Directors, and local Supply Chain Managers.
  • Ensure alignment with the Corporate Supply Chain team and strategic categories to enforce supply chain processes and standards.
  • Focus on correct usage and optimization of ERP
  • Ensure alignment of ERP-usage within the international supply chain playing field
  • Lead intercompany S&OP meetings.
  • Collaborate with local management to establish rules for intercompany forecasting, stock reservations, order management, product life cycle management, and intercompany pricing.
  • Provide expert input on supply chain organization and processes to country and regional teams, including creating overviews of plant utilization and stock evolution.
  • Conduct business case calculations and optimization simulations to optimize capacity allocation and inform mid and long-term investment decisions.
  • Deliver optimal customer service and experience at minimized costs.
  • Ensure effective knowledge management within the supply chain function, including sharing best practices, training, and enhancing competencies.
  • Provide critical input for regional prioritization of supply chain improvement initiatives.

Profile

  • Possess a master’s degree or equivalent in business administration, technical studies, or other relevant fields.
  • Hold at least 5 years of professional experience in Supply Chain within a large-scale, international products/solutions business, particularly in the manufacturing industry.
  • Demonstrate excellent proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
  • Exhibit strong project and process management skills.
  • Have operational experience in leading small to medium-sized project teams.
  • Show a strong affinity for IT, especially with Supply Chain-related modules of SAP or other relevant ERP systems.
  • Be proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Possess strong communication, relationship management, and negotiation skills, with the capability to set direction, evaluate, coach, mentor, and support others.
  • Have excellent interpersonal and meeting facilitation skills, with the ability to energize colleagues.
  • Appreciate working with multicultural teams in a cross-border matrix organization.
  • Be willing to travel frequently (up to 40-50%).
