Job description
- Collaborating on various sourcing projects, contributing to AXA’s transformation.
- Working with business stakeholders to understand their vision and strategy, anticipating their needs to make value propositions. Developing and maintaining a close relationship with the business through formal and informal relationship management.
- Helping to determine the best procurement strategies and closely collaborating with business stakeholders on this.
- Creating and managing an inventory of the software and associated contracts used in the company. Driving efficiency by actively challenging the business needs, supplier licensing models, and rationalizing the number of products and suppliers internally in close connection with the IT architecture.
- Executing supplier selection projects based on AXA’s sourcing methodology: analyzing needs, determining supplier trends, preparing tender documents based on AXA templates, developing an evaluation matrix, assessing proposals, conducting contractual and commercial negotiations together with the category manager, formalizing the contract. Setting up and managing a multifunctional sourcing project team.
- If applicable, reviewing supplier performance and relationship management. Regularly attending meetings with AXA’s business stakeholders and suppliers. Managing contracts and overseeing their execution together with the business stakeholder. Monitoring the supplier market and business trends, anticipating changes.
- Collaborating as a team with both local colleagues and colleagues from the AXA Group Procurement community, sharing best practices and lessons learned.
- Contributing to the transformation of Procurement by actively participating in cross-functional initiatives.
- You will work on several procurement projects and be the driving force behind interactions with business line stakeholders and suppliers. You will be part of a team of experts and report to the Head of Procurement.
Profile
- You show a “why not”, “let’s go for it”, and “I can do it” mentality, and want to be part of AXA’s exciting transformation journey.
- You have at least two to three years of experience in IT software procurement and sourcing, with a strong focus on ‘Software as a Service’ contracts.
- Proficient in sourcing methodology and autonomous in managing a sourcing event.
- Team player and bridge builder
- Out-of-the-box thinker, capable of driving change.
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
- Good analytical skills, affinity with finance is a plus.
- Results-oriented, agile, pragmatic.
- Fluent in French and/or Dutch, fluent in English.
