Our client is a well-known budget-friendly player within the retail industry. They are strongly represented on the Belgian market, with stores all across the country.

European HQ initiated a European-wide transformation program, in which each nation’s supply chain activities were centralized in the respective country HQ. Before, lots of responsibilities were given to separate local DC’s, causing inefficiencies throughout the supply chain.

• While aiding in the setup of central supply chain teams, Purson acted on an operational level, creating a blueprint for the new modus operandi.
• Phase-out of several EXCEL-sheets that were used on a local level, transferring al data towards SAP.
• Management of replenishment between several DC’s and local stores in each region, while new permanent colleagues were hired.
• Assisting in overall LEAN implementation projects, while assisting local management.
• Creating new stock lists and inventory overview in SAP.
• Tier listing suppliers and logistic service providers as to create a better understanding on which partner to involve at which time.
