CHALLENGES
- Client’s EDC for the EMIA region was undergoing a lot of stress due to inefficient organisational setup.
- Volume throughput was under high pressure because of lackluster procedures as well as a rotten relationship between local management and other stakeholders such as unions.
RESULTS
- After analysing the current situation, Purson redesigned the total organisation, putting in place a LEAN team that was able to convincingly play its role as EMIA’s largest distribution centre.
- We restored the relationship with both the company’s own employees and the social partners.
- Purson took full budget responsibility (OPEX & CAPEX), beating expectations by focusing on tight budget control and significant efficiency improvements. Also, we managed special CAPEX projects (eg: windmill construction, automation and IT projects)
- Purson secured business continuity by designing a BC plan to mitigate possible disruptive effects on the EMIA flow.
