Crisis Management at a specialized industrial service provider – INDUSTRY

CUSTOMER

Client is a specialized industrial service provider, offering a wide range of technical products, engineering and customization solutions, as well as related services. They assist customers in a variety of industrial segments to improve their product performance.

CHALLENGES

  • On a European level, client was undergoing a significant transformation to withstand new challenges in the market. This resulted in a rescheduling of international warehouses and relocating of certain production facilities.
  • Purson had to actively take part in this transformation project, while also focusing on the people aspect.

RESULTS

  • Performed a thorough analysis of current Belgian warehouse and logistics footprint.
  • Prepared the closure of one warehouse and redistribution of the stock within the European network.
  • Analysis of product portfolio and its production location in Belgium, while relocating this production towards other European manufacturing locations.
  • In addition to that, Purson had to step in as a supply chain manager to fill in a hole in the organisation. Operational performance had to be guaranteed in a situation where personnel was unsure about their future within the organisation.
  • Focus on the team and made sure everybody felt heard and valued.
